Fremantle Dockers

Fremantle Dockers are confident about the 2018 AFL season. Freo has taken on 22 new players in the past two off-seasons. Many young midfielders will be making a debut this year under the guidance of Lachie Neale. At just 18 and 19 years old, Andrew Brayshaw and Bailey Banfield make a debut this season, with Neale believing that Brayshaw’s competitive edge will add power to the midfield. Aaron Sandilands fitness levels will have a big impact on Freo this year as he comes out of hamstring injuries, the team is hoping for a strong recovery. The team has taken on an ’anything’s possible’ mantra as they work to rebuild for the 2018 season.

West Coast Eagles

The West Coast Eagles are back with a fresh line up of new players for the 2018 AFL season. Fingers are crossed this year as Nic Naitanui comes out of recovery after last season’s injury. Senior coach Adam Simpson recognizes that West Coast Eagles harbours a younger team this year with many first and second-year players making their debut this season. Elliot Yeo could be pushed forward this season after seeing his potential when he covered Josh Kennedy last season.
