The bar at The Royal is the only one in Perth offering Colonial beers on tap. The multi-award winning, hand-crafted beers brewed at our Margaret River brewery have enabled Colonial Brewing Co to claim the prestigious honour of being awarded Australia's Champion Small Brewery for two consecutive years as well as a string of Gold, Silver & Bronze medals!

At The Royal, you can choose from the Colonial Kolsch Ale - our very popular light bodied, crisp German style ale; or the Colonial Pale Ale which is based on the English style with full malt flavours and an assertive bitterness. Also available is the gold medal winning Colonial Brown Ale which is a malt driven beer that has toffee & caramel tones; and finally there's everyone's favourite, Colonial Witbier - a Belgian style classic with a twist of orange peel and coriander seeds.

The Royal also offers an extensive range of premium bottled beers, a superb wine list with 39 wines by the glass and some very stylish cocktails.

Whatever you prefer, enjoy drinks on our roomy boardwalk on the waterfront, in a cushy booth inside or on one of our stylish new tables watching your favourite sports on one of the five 50inch plasmas!

At The Royal, we offer a selection of Colonial's award-winning beers on tap. Colonial Brewing Co is located on Osmington Road in Margaret River, Western Australia. They were most recently presented with the following major awards from the Australian International Beer Awards:

Colonial Brewing Co brew all the beer on-site at Margaret River. The beers produced are truly hand-crafted ales in small batches and are recognised as top quality ales!
